Terms & Conditions

• "App" — The ERP Attendance: HR Management Android application, package ID in.selftech.attendance, published on the Google Play Store.
• "We / Us / Our" — SelfTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. the developer and publisher of the App.
• "You / User" — Any individual who downloads, installs, or uses the App.
• "Company / Employer" — The organisation that has subscribed to the SelfTech ERP platform and granted you access to the App.
• "ERP Platform" — The SelfTech web-based ERP system to which the App connects as a client.
• "Content" — Any data, text, information, or material displayed in or submitted through the App.

To use the App, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be an active employee or authorised user of an organisation that has subscribed to the SelfTech ERP platform
• Have been granted login credentials by your employer or an authorised system administrator
• Use the App only on a device you own or are authorised to use

Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Do not share your username or password with anyone. Notify your employer's IT administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your credentials.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on an Android device you own or control, solely for the purpose of accessing your employer's HR management features.

This licence does NOT permit you to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicence the App or any part of it
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices (including copyright, trademark, and branding) within the App
• Use the App to build a competing product or service
• Access the App through automated means, scripts, or bots

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose — managing your workplace HR activities. You must NOT use the App to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent attendance, leave, or permission requests
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts, data, or the ERP server
• Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity or performance of the App or the ERP platform
• Transmit any malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or your employer's workplace policies
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or employees

The App is a client application that connects to the ERP platform operated by or on behalf of your employer. The following points govern the relationship between you, your employer, and us:

• Your employer is the data controller for all HR records (attendance, leave, profile information, announcements, etc.) stored on the ERP platform
• We act as a data processor, operating the App and backend infrastructure under instructions from your employer
• Your employer's internal HR policies, employment contract, and workplace rules govern how you may use the App and what actions are permissible
• Any dispute regarding the accuracy of your HR data (attendance records, leave approvals, etc.) must be raised with your employer — we do not have authority to alter employer-controlled records
• We are not a party to your employment relationship and have no liability for employment decisions made by your employer

The App currently provides the following features (subject to your employer's configuration and your assigned access level):

• Attendance Management — View check-in/check-out records, monthly attendance summary, and detailed logs
• Leave Management — Check leave balances, submit requests, track approval status, and view history
• Hourly Permissions — Submit and track short-duration absence requests
• Holidays — View the company's official holiday calendar
• Notifications — Receive real-time push notifications for workplace events
• Company Announcements — View organisation-wide updates and communications
• Awards & Warnings — View personal recognition and disciplinary records as recorded by HR
• Birthdays — View colleague birthdays and related features
• Employee Profile — View your personal employee profile information

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the App and its connected services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled or emergency maintenance
• Server infrastructure issues
• Internet connectivity issues on your device or network
• Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time with or without notice, and we will not be liable for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

The App may send push notifications to your device regarding attendance events, leave request updates, approvals, company announcements, and other workplace activities. These notifications are sent via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).

By using the App, you consent to receive such notifications. You may disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings → Apps → ERP Attendance: HR Management → Notifications. Disabling notifications will not affect your ability to use the App's core features, but you may miss time-sensitive workplace updates.

The App, including its design, code, graphics, branding, logos, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by SelfTech Solutions Pvt Ltd.and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the App or its content. The limited licence in Section 3 is the full extent of your rights regarding the App.

"SelfTech", "ERP Attendance", and associated logos are trademarks of SelfTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content displayed in the App
• Warranties that defects in the App will be corrected

HR data displayed in the App (attendance records, leave balances, etc.) is sourced from your employer's ERP system. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of this data; any discrepancies must be resolved directly with your employer's HR department.

This includes, without limitation:

• Loss of data or corruption of data
• Employment decisions made by your employer based on App data
• Loss of income or financial loss
• Any interruption or cessation of the App's functionality
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SelfTech Solutions Pvt Ltd.and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of or access to the App
• Your violation of any provision of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Your submission of false or fraudulent HR data through the App
• Any infringement by you of any intellectual property or other rights of any third party

These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the App. Access may be terminated:

• By your employer: If your employment ends, your role changes, or your employer deactivates your account or terminates their ERP subscription
• By us: If we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or engaged in fraudulent or harmful activity
• By you: At any time, by uninstalling the App and ceasing all use

Upon termination, the licence granted under Section 3 is immediately revoked. Sections 8 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimer), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Indemnification), and 13 (Governing Law) survive termination.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. If you are using the App from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you through the App or via a push notification

Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using and uninstall the App.

We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically. The current version is always available at this URL and within the App's "About" or "Legal" section.
